A sailing vacation in Croatia with kids is the best opportunity to spend time with your loved ones. This diversity and variety makes you want to come back right away. The goal is to cover a maximum of 13 nm per half of the day, which corresponds to about 2 hours of sailing. Therefore you and your children will have enough time to relax in the bays and on the beaches. While the kids have fun in the water with swim toys, paddle boats, SUP and snorkels, you can sit back and relax on board the yacht and enjoy the nature with a glass of wine.

Slow-down
For children (and also for some adults) 2 x 2 hours of sailing per day is already a lot. Our skippers are mindful of your limits. Take time for your children and show them how important they are to you. Therefore, take long breaks for swimming and snorkeling in beautiful bays and go with your children to ice cream parlors or pizzerias in the picturesque harbor towns. There are so countless bays and harbors that you don’t necessarily have to be on a different island every day.
Kids need to be busy
Your skipper looks after that your children are actively sailing along. Depending on their age, they will also learn how to steer the yacht. The skipper also gives your kids tasks to do during the maneuvers such as tacking, jibing and also when mooring in the harbor or at the buoy. Exciting for children are also the importance of navigation instruments and GPS chart plotter. Likewise, of course, they can take a fishing rod and let their children catch fish. Your kids’ help is also needed in the kitchen.
Take your friends with you
You may have friends in your circle of acquaintances with children of similar ages. Children among themselves keep themselves busy and have even more fun.
